FHU on the Road was held in Memphis on Thursday, October 4 at the new FHU campus, the Bucy Center. We had a fantastic turn out and are excited about the great things that are going on in Memphis for our students there. On that night, eighty-three faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends, and other guests met together for a night of fellowship and updates about FHU. Several people walked away with fantastic door prizes, including a pair of Benefit Dinner tickets, FHU blankets and other paraphernalia. Dr. Wiley updated all of us on what is going on at FHU. Of particular interest to many in the room was the fact that Freed-Hardeman is committed to remain true to its heritage. In a time where some are choosing other routes, FHU has decided to remain true to its Christian roots and the audience in Memphis was both inquisitive and appreciative of this fact. We sang several songs and enjoyed the company in the room. It's great to be associated with FHU! We see great momentum with our FHU on the Road program and we hope to have more people to join us as we continue this program.
