We have officially begun the iLearn Program with the starting of the Induction Phase with Cohort I. The QEP Director Interviews are being conducted July 5, 6, 7, and 11. The QEP Director, Instructional Technologist, and Cohort I will take part in the Orientation Meeting in a couple of weeks. At that time we will be discussing the Overview of Pedagogical Technologies (OPT) portion of the Induction Phase along with the Advanced Training of Pedagogical Technologies (ATPT). We have shared with Cohort I a Google Spreadsheet with the following topics that will be introduced during the OPT: Learning Management System (LMS), Group Collaboration, Interactive Whiteboard, Lecture Capture, Podcasting, Videocasting, Digital Textbooks, Classroom Engagement Tools, Social Media Engagement Tools, Productivity Tools, Content Repositories, mLearning with iOS Applications, and Classroom Technology. These topics will be discussed further over the next few weeks in the iLearn Blog. Cohort I will be taking part in the OPT and ATPT during the months of August, September, and October. The Development Phase will begin November 2011 and go through May 2012.
