The iLearn Program
Integrating Student Learning and Collaborative Technology
The purpose of The iLearn Program is to improve student learning by integrating effective, relevant, and transparent technologies in selected General Education courses from the Schools of Sciences & Mathematics and Arts & Humanities.
Freed-Hardeman University (FHU) has identified three iLearn goals:
Goal 1: Improve student learning in iLearn General Education courses by integrating pedagogical technologies to engage student learners.
Goal 2: Enhance faculty teaching in iLearn General Education courses through the use of collaborative pedagogical technologies.
Goal 3: Provide additional resources in order to maximize the impact of The iLearn Program.
Faculty members participating in The iLearn Program, CIT, and the Director of QEP will contribute to The iLearn Program Blog. Blogging will allow the faculty members to reflect on what was done to integrate technology tools into their courses, what they learned, and how they can use what was learned to enhance their course moving forward. This Blog will also allow CIT and the Director of QEP the opportunity to share with all of the FHU stakeholders the impact of iLearn and how other faculty members can integrate into their classes the pedagogical technologies that are being utilized in The iLearn Program.
