Last week was the official "half-way" point of the semester. I seriously cannot believe how fast this semester has gone by. This is tragic to say, but I don't feel like I have done anything yet. This semester has by far been my busiest ever, but it's not just me! I've asked my friends if they feel like this semester has flown by, and they agree. Maybe there is something off in the universe...
Well here are a few things I have been doing lately. I signed up for the Inaugural Walker 5k Run to help prevent cardiovascular disease. I'm really excited because it will be my first race. I've always wanted to be involved in things like Race for the Cure and Team in Training. The fact that people are willing to do something great for somebody else through a means that helps keep their own bodies healthy is just really cool to me. This particular race is in Henderson so I really had no reason not to sign up. Also, you get a t-shirt for participating. I'll do anything that involves a t-shirt. If you are interested in the race here is a link!
On a similar note, my friend Macey Baze is participating in the Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes in Nashville the same weekend. Both of these are really great causes and if you would like to participate in either I encourage you to do so. Here is a link to sponsor Macey and her team.
In other news: Josh and I have been dating for a year now, which I personally find exciting.
That's all for now :)
