Almost from the beginning of Freed-Hardeman, social clubs have been a vital part of the school. The need for close, personal contact and for social interaction is fulfilled in the social clubs.

Social clubs at Freed-Hardeman University are not exclusive. Each qualified student is given an opportunity to join and participate in a club. From Freed-Hardeman’s point of view, the social clubs should stimulate a closer bond of friendship among students and enhance each student’s loyalty to Freed-Hardeman University.

 

Presently, there are five social clubs at FHU. They are Chi Beta Chi, Gamma Tau Omega, Phi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Rho, and Xi Chi Delta. All social clubs are lead by student officers and sponsored by FHU faculty and staff.
