Motor Vehicle Registration
Every Individual who maintains or operates a motor vehicle on the FHU campus must register each vehicle with the Office of Safety and Security at the beginning of the semester or within 24 hours when brought to the campus.
Permit Placement
The permit must be affixed to the glass on the outside, bottom left side of the back of the car. You must use the adhesive on the permit. No other method of attaching the permit is permissible.
Parking Permit Color Code:
Gold - Resident
Brown - Graduate
Blue - Commuter
Mirror Hanger - Faculty and Staff
Fines

| Parking permit not properly affixed to vehicle or in wrong location | $25 |
| Permit affixed to vehicle other than the registered vehicle | $25 |
| Falsification of registration information | $25 |
| Unauthorized use of handicap parking | $50 |
| Parking in a Fire Lane | $50 |
| Parking in unauthorized or restricted zones | $25 |
| Residents parking in faculty and staff, visitor or loading zones | $25 |
| Blocking or obstructing traffic, street, sidewalks, driveways, building entrances/exits, crosswalks or another vehicle | $25 |

Students are charged $20 per semester for campus parking.
Appeals
Parking Fine Appeals must be made to the Office of Campus Safety within 7 days of receiving a citation. An appeal committee will review the appeal and give a ruling. The resident will be notified of the committee's decision.
