Freed-Hardeman University strives to provide a safe and effective learning environment for the students, faculty, and staff that are affiliated with our university.
To provide a mode of mass communication, we have solicited the use of Rave Mobile Safety, a communication company that specializes in campus communications. With this partnership, we have the ability to communicate with the student body quickly concerning emergency like situations or even bad weather.
LionAlert is what Rave Mobile Safety is known as on FHU's campus. All faculty, staff and students will have a LionAlert account set up for them automatically. Users can
login to their Rave account and manage their preferences and settings. In addition to text and email notifications, FHU has deployed LionAlert on our
iKnow Applications,
FHU's mobile website and on the homepage of
www.fhu.edu. Our goal by this service is to communicate quickly with the student body concerning emergency situations.
