10 Reasons To Not Miss GO! Camp!

March 23, 2011 12:25 PM

1. THE FOCUS. Spend a week dedicated to service, missions and outreach: all the things that are key to changing the world.

2. HANDS-ON PROJECTS. One part of each day will be a project you'll get to work on that will help somebody else.

3. PRACTICAL LABS. These nuts-and-bolts sessions will leave you with real ways you can make an impact in your community.

4. THE IDEA LAB. Hear from teenagers and leaders from all over the country who are changing the world in powerful and unique ways! A few of the speakers include Derreck Kayongo from the Global Soap Project, author and blogger Sam Davidson from Cool People Care and the incredible 19-year old abolitionist and author Zach Hunter.

5. WORSHIP. Singing. Devotionals. Discussion Time. Personal Bible Study. This is key to what GO! is all about.

6. FUN. We're going to have a blast! There will be games, contests, sports, film premieres, concerts, and more. Our goal is for this to be an unforgettable week for you!

7. THE GO! CAFE. This spot will be the center of the action. You'll have the chance to check your email, send video messages, and interact with all the things we talk about throughout the week. This area will be sponsored by Love In Stereo, a non-profit dedicated to increasing collaboration between artists, causes and everyday people.

8. CONNECTIONS. We want this week to be all about connecting you! Connecting you to new friends, churches and to what God is doing all over the world!

9. THE LAST DAY OF CAMP. Everything we're doing is designed with the last day in mind. We want you to leave camp ready to take action. It's not about what happens at GO! - it's about what happens next!

10. WHAT'S NEXT. We can't wait for what's next. GO! Camp is just the beginning. We're looking forward to seeing the things students all over the world create. There is a generation of young Christians who are ready to live the life God has called us to live. We can't wait to see it in action!

Ben Franklin's Daily Schedule

March 16, 2011 11:12 AM
Wanted to share this with you guys. Right now many of our team are scattered all over the world! Excited to share their stories with you soon.

Came across this and thought it was really cool. It's a page from Benjamin Franklin's Daily Schedule.

Photo via Nick Bilton and swissmiss.

He begins his day with the question: "What good shall I do this day?" He ends each day with "What good have I done today?" Love that. Have you asked that of yourself today?
