GO! CAMP: Paid in full.

May 17, 2011 8:29 AM

Nobody should have to miss out on GO! Camp. This is especially true if money is the deciding factor.

The past few days some incredible things have happened. We've had several people step up out of the blue who have said they want to pay for a student to attend GO! Camp. They believe in what we're doing, in what this will be and in the impact it will have. They want you here.

So here's what we're asking:

Are you somebody who would like to attend GO! Camp but honestly just can't afford to come? Send us an email: go@fhu.edu. Tell us who you are and why you want to be here. That's it.

We need all entries by this Friday May 20. We will keep you and your situation anonymous. There are only a select number of scholarships available. We will notify you by Wed May 25 if selected. You may nominate yourself, a student in your youth group, or any other jr. high to high school student you know that could benefit from the week of GO!

Somebody believes in you. They believe in this camp. They believe in the impact God can make through you. Let's GO!

What Will Be Different?

May 16, 2011 10:44 AM

What will be different after GO! Camp?

We're working hard to create an experience that is more than just a camp you attend. This is about what happens when you leave. We can't wait to see what happens.

Devotional Keynote Speakers

May 16, 2011 8:31 AM

Each day at GO! Camp will build to a very special devotional time. It will be a time to reflect on the day that has passed, what will be coming up tomorrow and how you'll work and live when you return home. Each night will focus on a specific theme: Sunday -Overture, Monday- Vision, Tuesday- Rescue, Wednesday- Freedom and Thursday: Hope. Our five speakers are all men who, yes are great presenters, but most of all their lives speak volumes. Each of them are involved in living God's love out daily in their communities - whether that community be Cookeville, TN or Cusco, Peru.

After each session you'll be a part of a small group time where you'll be able to discuss the message and how you can take it back home. The day will then end with an outdoor singing in the center of campus.

Please join us. We're working hard to make GO! Camp meaningful and memorable for you. Register here: http://fhu.edu/s/Wr3p5

We Made a Music Video

May 2, 2011 8:55 AM

Some of the GO! staff came together to make this music video of us performing Justin Bieber's That Should Be Me.

Why? You have a lot of choices this summer. We think it should be us. We want you here.

GO! is going to be awesome. You'll have the time of your life and make a difference. We are packing 100,000 meals to be sent to the Sonlight Children's Home in Haiti. We have thoughtful worship planned. We have insightful classes prepared. We have world-changing stories to tell. We have incredible students from churches all over the country to highlight. It's going to be incredible.

June 5-10 you have a lot of options. We think that week it should be us. Please watch, share, repeat.

Thanks to Kristi Montague and Matt van den Meiracker for the awesome work in making this happen. Here are a few behind the scenes pics from Matt.

GO! Camp is just a few weeks away. REGISTER NOW: http://fhu.edu/go. See you June 5-10!
