FHitness for U Wellness Program receives state award
We are proud to announce that the FHitness for U wellness program at FHU received the 2010 Shining Star Award from the TN Governor's Council for Physical Fitness and Health! The award program is designed to recognize and encourage groups that promote healthy lifestyles. FHU won in the category of "Where We Work".
The award ceremony was hosted at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville TN on August 2, 2010. Accepting the award on behalf of FHU were Kay Pack, Human Resources Assistant, and Russell Epperson, Director of Human Resources and Purchasing. After the awards presentation, the winners were escorted to the State Capital and congratulated by Governor Phil Bredesen and the Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Health, Susan Cooper, MSN, RN.
