Effective Date:

January 4, 2010.  A 90-day probationary period is in effect for all employees.

 

Position Summary:

Recruit students to Freed-Hardeman University who will remain through the completion of a planned course of study by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruit prospective students within the Oklahoma and Texas territory.

Obtain an application goal, matriculation goal, and an enrollment goal.

Participate as campus hosts to visitors.

Coordinate aid packages for applicants with Financial Aid Office.

Manage territory travel and expense budgets.

Participate with on-campus events and off-campus team events.

Communicate with prospects, inquiries, and applicants through email, Facebook, phone, by letter, and face to face contact in order to facilitate their matriculation.

Promote a positive image of Freed-Hardeman University.

Plan and attend church visits, college fairs, high school visits, youth rallies and youth events within the territory.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. One to two years related experience and/or training. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel extensively. Knowledge of collegiate admissions process. Must be willing to relocate to the TX or OK region.
