After School Art for Children

The Department of Fine Arts is committed to provide quality arts instruction to community children through free after school art classes. The "After School Art" classes meet during the fall and spring semesters on Thursday afternoons from 3:45 until 4:30 p.m. Children ages 5-11 meet and experience art activities with a variety of materials and media.

College students under the supervision of a certified art education specialist teach art lessons. No supplies are needed. 

Participation is Free but enrollment is limited for Fall and Spring. Classes meet September-November 2013 and February-April 2014.

Art opportunities for older students is limited to Art QUEST- a summer program designed for grades 8-12. QUEST students stay on campus and participate in art studio activities. Call Dr. Barbara England at 989-6089 or visit the website www.fhu.edu/quest.
