Alistare Cooke called New York City “the greatest collection of villages in the world.” Each year, students, faculty and friends of FHU travel to the Big Apple to get a taste of the city and its wonders. For six days in January, the group enjoys New York theatre performances, tours of prominent entertainment facilities and workshops with theatre professionals.

The 2014 trip is scheduled for January 14-19. We'll fly out of Nashville, spend 5 nights in a midtown Manhattan hotel, see several shows as a group, and tour the 911 Memorial. All this for a very reasonable price.

There's much more to do too! See shows like Wicked, Mary Poppins, or Stomp. Enjoy great shopping and good food. Visit the Statue of Liberty, China Town, historic Harlem... Make the trip your own.

You can also receive college credit for the trip. Enroll in the January short course, THE299A/399A New York Theatre Survey to learn all about Manhattan history, musical theatre in performance and the shows we'll see.
