Nursing students are pursuing a career filled with many opportunities, challenges, and rewards. Nursing programs are rigorous and students must be prepared to meet those challenges in order to successfully earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Registered Nurse (RN) license. A strong support system can help students succeed in reaching their academic and personal goals, finding balance in their time management, and managing stress.
A nursing student support system orientation is conducted for parents and other members of the nursing student's support system as they enter the FHU nursing program. This orientation is designed to share information about the rigors, policies, expectations, and progression through the nursing program with the student's support people, in an effort to provide resources to boost the student's confidence and success within the program.
