Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Selection and Admission of Students
Students will be admitted to the Department of Nursing in the spring of each year. Completed applications will be due the first week of October, and selection letters will be mailed before registration for the spring semester is completed. Selection for the Bachelor of Science Nursing Program is based on the following:
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale,
  • Science GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. All science courses must have a "C" or better, no more than one science course may be repeated, and Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II must be taken at the same university/college,
  • TEAS score of proficient or higher,
  • Complete ENG 101, 102, BIO 211, 212, 215, CHE 111, and MAT 101, and 
  • Have fewer than 12 hours of general education classes remaining and fewer than 8 hours of Bible remaining.
