Chris White did his undergraduate studies in Business Administration and Nursing at Union University. He also completed his master's degree in Nursing Education at Union University. He started teaching with Freed-Hardeman in August 2009. Prior to this new and exciting opportunity, he worked in bedside nursing and management positions, primarily in the emergency department setting. He is very excited about being a part of the Freed-Hardeman family and growing within the university and the Department of Nursing.

Ada Allen joined the FHU nursing family in January 2008. Nursing is her passion; maternity, as well as adult health nursing are her specialties. She has worked in this profession over 30 years. She started as a nursing assistant, then became a licensed practical nurse, then a registered nurse. She then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She recently graduated from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing where she earned her Master's Degree in Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioning and the passed board certification tests in that area. This degree will help her to be well-rounded in teaching maternity nursing here at Freed-Hardeman. In this dynamic field, teaching helps her to stay current with various issues of health, technology, and medicine. God has enabled her to give back by sharing her knowledge and skills to those who seek to become part of this profession.

Rebecca Bush graduated with her first nursing degree in 1986 from Union University with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing. She went on to complete both her Bachelor of Science (1994) and Master of Science in Nursing (2009) from Union University also. She has a diverse background in nursing that includes medical-surgical nursing, home health, occupational health, management and teaching at the practical nurse and register nurse levels.

Shannon Guthrie received her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Lipscomb University. She then received a Master's Degree in the Science of Nursing from Vanderbilt University with an emphasis in child, adolescent, and family nursing. She has worked in a variety of areas, including pediatrics, pediatric and neonatal intensive care, school nursing, clinical nurse specialist, and pediatric intensive care transport team before coming to teach nursing at FHU. I currently reside in Jackson with my husband Scott and three children, Emma, Grace, and Jackson.

Trina Wiley received her B.S. degree in Biology with emphasis in Biological Health Sciences and a minor in Chemistry from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2001. She then completed many credit hours geared toward a M.S. degree in Biotechnologies before discovering her passion for nursing. She received her B.S. in Nursing from East Central University (of Oklahoma) in 2005. Trina has worked in a variety of hospital settings from small rural hospitals to large metropolitan hospitals and has experience in cardio/neuro nursing, medical-surgical nursing and some pediatric nursing. She is licensed in Texas, Oklahoma and Tennessee. This summer completes Trina's first year as a member of the Nursing Department at Freed-Hardeman University, and she feels very privileged to be a part of the FHU family.

Rhonda Woodham is entering her second year as an instructor in the Department of Nursing at FHU. She has been a critical care nurse for over 23 years and is still a staff/charge nurse in the critical care unit at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She is married to Mike Woodham, who is also an FHU graduate ('83), and they will celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary in November. They have two children, Katelyn and Ryan, who keep them very busy! Katelyn is a freshman at FHU, and Ryan is a freshman at Chester County High School.

Teresa Semore has been with the Department of Nursing since September 2009. She attended FHU from 1982-1984. She received a B.S. degree in Management Communication in 2003 from Amridge University, formerly Southern Christian University, in Montgomery, AL. She received a M.S. degree in Leadership and Management from Amridge University in 2007. Her husband, Garvis, is a speech instructor at FHU. She has two sons, Dan and Dustin. Dan earned his M.B.A. from FHU in December 2010, and Dustin is a senior Bible major at FHU.
