is a new academic journal from the School of Biblical Studies and from Freed-Hardeman University. It is an online journal that will encourage deeper study and critical thinking in the study of God's inspired word.
The journal is entitled Kingdom
because the Greek word basileia
is sufficiently broad in scope so as to handle a variety of questions in the areas of religion, theology, the philosophy of religion, ethics, missiology, church history, etc. Thus, we will be addressing issues about the kingdom
over which Christ rules as king and the transformational nature of kingdom
in the lives of those who are subjects of the King. It will feature the FHU family of advanced Bible students, Bible faculty and Bible graduates, but others will be allowed to contribute as well.
Writers' Guidelines for Unsolicited Journal Submissions
The Writers' Guidelines document describes the future direction of Kingdom. It also includes writers' guidelines for unsolicited scholarly articles. If you have further questions regarding Kingdom, please send them to Dr. Ralph Gilmore by email at email@example.com.
