Performance and Student Achievement

Student-learning outcomes are assessed regularly to ensure continuous improvement to each business program and course(s) within the program(s).  The ETS® Major Field Test provides comprehensive national comparative data reflecting learning outcomes.  It is designed to measure the critical knowledge and understanding obtained by business students.  The Major Field Tests go beyond the measurement of factual knowledge by evaluating students' ability to analyze and solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material from their major field of study.

Comp-XM is a computer simulation that tests an individual student's ability to not only answer questions about managing a business, but also tests the student's ability to manage the business.  Click here for Comp XM Business Simulation Test Results that reflect how students have scored in running a simulated business and how they have scored in answering questions about the business.

In addition to these standardized assessments, student learning is tracked within each academic program. Assessment results are compiled annually and reviewed by College of Business faculty and staff to develop plans for continuous improvement.
