TaskStream

What is TaskStream?

TaskStream is the School of Education's online service for students to use in creating required electronic portfolios, lesson plans, units, rubrics and webpages. Students in the School of Education's undergraduate program are required to maintain a paid-up active subscription to TaskStream whenever they are enrolled in courses in the School of Education. Artifacts for the electronic portfolio are required from all courses, as well as artifacts that reflect the Conceptual Framework of the School of Education.

How do I subscribe to TaskStream?

Students generally buy a one-semester subscription to TaskStream when they enroll in EDU 130 Introduction to Education or their first course in the School of Education. At the end of this course, if the student chooses a major outside of the School of Education, they will not be required to maintain an active subscription to TaskStream. Students who choose education as their major will be required to renew their subscription for the remainder of time until they graduate.

To enroll in TaskStream, the student will complete an enrollment form which enables them to have their subscription billed to their student account. The enrollment form may be downloaded, completed and submitted to the School of Education office. The student also has the option of enrolling in TaskStream online and paying by credit card.

Once you have completed the enrollment form, the School of Education will notify you when key codes are available for you to set up your TaskStream site. When setting up your TaskStream site, you will be required to create a username and password that will enable you to access the site.

What do I do when my TaskStream subscription expires?

When your TaskStream subscription expires, you may go online to www.taskstream.com and renew your subscription with a debit or credit card. When renewing your subscription, be sure to use the same username and password so that all of your previously uploaded documents can be viewed.
