At Freed-Hardeman, we offer several graduate courses completely online, and some of our degrees may be completed in a completely online format. For more information and details about these online courses, follow the "Course Schedules" link above.
Some courses are offered in an “online-only” format. Other courses have been offered as “hybrids,” meaning that the instructor teaches the course to students in the classroom and online simultaneously. A laptop computer with a webcam is used to broadcast the classroom sessions to a website which records them. Distance students may watch the class in real time, or view later. Interaction with online students is done via the Blackboard Learning System.
