Some of the courses at Freed-Hardeman are offered in an "online-only" format. Other courses have been offered as "hybrids," meaning that the instructor teaches the course to students in the classroom and online simultaneously. A laptop computer with a webcam is used to broadcast the classroom sessions to a website which records them. Distance students may watch the class in real time or view at a later time. Interaction with online students is done via Blackboard Learn.
