Freed-Hardeman University offers a variety of supplemental learning opportunities through two tutoring programs:

Peer Tutoring (Free)
Fee-based Tutoring Services

Peer-Tutoring 

Peer tutoring is available through the Academic Success Center to those students who need assistance in mathematics, science and English composition courses. Tutoring is available at no cost to the student. Appointments are preferred but not required. Those making appointments will receive priority.

Fee-Based Tutoring Services


The Academic Success Center coordinates a fee-based, peer-tutoring program for most subject areas. Students are charged a minimal charge of $6.55/hr. To access these services students will need to complete an application. Applications are available through the Academic Success Center in the Gardner Center.
