2012 - 2013 Academic Year
January 2013
- Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov . A limited number of awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Complete the online On-campus Housing Preference Form. Housing assignments for new students are made in June prior to your August registration.
February 2013
March 2013
- Review Student Aid Report (SAR) and awards package
- Finalize and submit applications for outside scholarships
April 2013
- Attend Maroon & Gold Day and stay for Makin’ Music on us. April 12 - Register Now
- Accept or decline your FHU awards package by the end of April
May 2013
- Go to your guidance office and request your official final 4-year transcript to be sent to FHU Admissions
- Register for classes at JumpSTART; new student registration
June 2013
- Congratulations on your High School graduation!
- Register for classes at JumpSTART; new student registration
July 2013
- Register for classes at JumpSTART new student registration
- Have all financial aid-loan paperwork completed by the end of July
(Includes: Entrance Counseling, Master Promissory Notes, Parent PLUS Loan Approvals and any alternative loan certifications). Instructions for this paperwork will be sent to the student in their Financial Aid Award Letter/Package; contingent on when the FAFSA is filed.
