2011 - 2012 Academic Year
January 2012
- Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
- Complete the online On-campus Housing Application and pay non-refundable $100 housing fee. Housing assignments for new students are made in June prior to your August registration.
February 2012
March 2012
- Review Student Aid Report (SAR) and awards package
- Finalize and submit applications for outside scholarships
April 2012
- Attend Maroon & Gold Day and stay for Makin’ Music on us. April 13 - Register Now
- Accept or decline your FHU awards package by the end of April
May 2012
- Go to your guidance office and request your official final 4-year transcript to be sent to FHU Admissions
- Register for classes at JumpSTART; new student registration
June 2012
- Congratulations on your High School graduation!
- Register for classes at JumpSTART; new student registration
July 2012
- Register for classes at JumpSTART new student registration
- Have all financial aid-loan paperwork completed by the end of July
(Includes: Entrance Counseling, Master Promissory Notes, Parent PLUS Loan Approvals and any alternative loan certifications). Instructions for this paperwork will be sent to the student in their Financial Aid Award Letter/Package; contingent on when the FAFSA is filed.
