2018-2019 Academic Year

July 2018

  • Have all financial aid/loan paperwork completed by the beginning of July 
    (Includes: Entrance Counseling, Master Promissory Notes, Parent PLUS Loan Approvals and any alternative loan certifications). Instructions for this paperwork will be sent to you in your Financial Aid Award Letter/Package; contingent on when the FAFSA is filed.

  • Register for classes.  Contact your admissions counselor to set up an appointment.

August 2018

Welcome to Freed-Hardeman University new students!

  • Welcome Home and Operation Helping Hands on August 18.

  • Interface and new student orientation.

  • First day of the fall semester on August 22.

October 2018

  • Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.  A limited number of awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Attend Maroon & Gold Day on October 8 - Register Now!

November 2018

  • Review Student Aid Report (SAR) and awards package.

  • Attend Maroon & Gold Day on November 9, then stay for Homecoming! - Register Now!

January 2019

February 2019

March 2019

  • Finalize and submit applications for outside scholarships.

April 2019

  • Attend Maroon & Gold Day and stay for Makin' Music (our treat!) on April 5 - Register Now!

  • Accept or decline your FHU awards package by the end of April.

  • Work with your Admissions Counselor to set up a registration date.

May 2019

  • Go to your guidance office and request your official final 4-year transcript to be sent to FHU Admissions.

  • Rising high school juniors and seniors: Apply to FHU!

June 2019

  • Congratulations on your High School graduation!

  • Register for classes by phone appointment.

July 2019
