The FHU men's tennis team defeated Lee University 8-1 Tuesday afternoon in Cleveland, Tenn. Ascencio, Andrade, Pasencia, and Bennis all won in the doubles matches. In singles action the Lions made a clean sweep in all six matches of the day. The Lions are now 4-0 on the season.

The Lion tennis team defeated Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn. Wednesday afternoon. The pairs of Ascencio/Andrade (8-4) and Plasencia/Bennis (5-1) won doubles matches. In singles action the Lions won five out of six. David Plasencia (5-7, 6-2, 6-1), Gerardo Ascencio (7-5, 6-0), AdrianoCipriano (6-2, 6-1), Othman Bennis (6-0, 6-4), and Thiago Barbosa (6-2, 6-0) all won their singles matches. TheLions are now 4-0 on the year.

Uehara/Castro UU won 6-8, and Plasencia/Bennis v. Goeke/Odengren UU won 3-8. Singles action: Plasencio v. Labella - DNF (6-4, 6-3, DNF), Andrade v. Sylvestre - UU (3-6, 4-6), Ascencio v. Odengren - UU (6-4, 6-4, 4-6), Cipriano v. Goeke - FHU (6-3, 3-6, 6-1), Bennis v. Uehara - DNF (4-6, 2-2, DNF), and Barbosa v. Castro - DNP. The Lions defeated Oklahoma Christian 5-4 Saturday afternoon in Memphis, Tenn. In doubles action the pair of Cipriano/Barbosa defeated Kehrle/D. Maggio 8-5. In single action: Plasencio, Ascencio, Cipriano, and Barbosa all won their matches. The Lions are now 7-1 overall and ranked 14th Nationally.

Gustavo Andrade (6-3, 6-2) and Othman Bennis (6-3, 6-7, 6-0) won in th singles. Other FHU players DNP because the match was already won. The Lions are now 8-1 on the season.

The Lion Tennis team defeated Lyon College in Batesville, Ark. Thursday afternoon. In doubles action the pairs of Ascencio/Andrade (8-1), Cipriano/Barbosa (8-2), and Bennis/Plasencia (8-0) all won. FHU also rolled through the singles matches - the Lions did not lose a single match to Transouth foe Lyon. The Men's tennis team is now 10-1 on the year.

FHU was able to knock off NCAA Division II opponent East Central Oklahoma Friday afternoon in Searcy, Ark. In doubles action the pairs of Barbosa/Cipriano (8-6), Plasencia/Bennis (8-6), and Andrade/Ascencio (8-4) all won. In singles action only two matches were played. Adriano Cipriano (6-2, 6-3) and Othman Bennis (6-2, 6-4) both won. The Lions improve their record to 11-2 overall.
