Henderson, Tenn. – It was a season to remember for the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lion volleyball team. The Lady Lions won their first regular season conference championship and captured a first TranSouth tournament championship, setting records and accumulating several individual honors along the way. But it was not the fairy tale ending that they had hoped for, as the sixth seeded Union University Lady Bulldogs came into the Sports Center and upset the number three seeded Lady Lions to put an end to national tournament aspirations. |
