Head Coach Todd Humphry
Todd Humphry is the head coach of the Lady Lion Volleyball team. Coach Humphry’s background in volleyball includes 8 years of high school experience as well as six years as a college coach. He is in his sixth year as Freed-Hardeman University. The volleyball program at Freed-Hardeman has had eight 20-win seasons, with more than 275 wins and playoff berths. Coach Humphry lead the Lady Lions to the school’s first-ever TranSouth Regional Tournament in 2004. In 2005 the Lady Lions returned to the TranSouth Regional Tournament. Coach Humphry is looking forward to another great season with the Lady Lions.
Along with being the head volleyball coach, Humphry is the head coach of the Lady Lions Softball team. Coach Humphry is married to Susan (Malone) and has three children: Emily, Jared, and Allie. |

Assistant Coach Cheri Erickson
Cheri Erickson is beginning in her first year as the Lady Lions assistant coach. Erickson is a 2005 graduate of FHU and a former member of the Lady Lions volleyball team. During her time as a player for the Lady Lions, she was selected team captain and helped lead the team to their first-ever TranSouth Regional Tournament appearance. Erickson was named TranSouth Scholar Athlete 3 times and an All-American Scholar Athlete in 2004. She also lead the NAIA in assists per game in 2004 and was selected TranSouth First Team All-Conference. She is the daughter of Keith and Janet Kull and is newly married to Jon Erickson. |
