It’s that time of year again – finals week! All across campus students can be found camped out in study rooms, huddled in corners of the library with books stacked high, and stealing a quick nap on a lobby couch between finals.
To help alleviate the stress and work of finals week, faculty and administration, including the president, vice presidents, and several school deans, don aprons and take the place of the regular cafeteria workers to serve students a special late-night meal. Dubbed the “Finals Breakfast,” the event is free to students and features everything needed to fuel up for a long night of studying: pancakes, eggs, bacon, grits, and more.
In addition to being a free meal—something no college student would ever turn down—Finals Breakfast is a fun way to take a break from studying, meet up and laugh with friends, and interact with favorite professors and administrators casually outside of the classroom. It’s a wonderful and delicious way to wrap up the semester.
