This summer we invite you to experience FHU. You, your friends and your youth group can jump into service at GO! Camp or experience the Christian leadership at Horizons. Our Lion and Lady Lion Athletic Camps are designed to help you improve your athletic skills while becoming a true Champion of Character. You can also be a part of a life-changing week at FHU’s longest running camp, Mid-South Youth Camp.
GO! Camp was started out of a desire to inspire and empower young people in grades 7-12 to live meaningful lives of service.
Designed for youth groups and individuals, the week combines interactive labs, sessions and projects with fun and more. Students hear from world changers and innovative leaders. It’s a chance to plug into a community of young dreamers and doers from all across the world. The week is packed with ideas and practical how-to labs. Through service opportunities, meaningful worship and group discussion, you’ll grow deeper in faith and leave ready to put it into action.
Horizons is a week-long spiritual experience for Christian
leaders in grades 7-12 held on the campus of FreedHardeman
University July 5-10, 2015.
Each day is filled with exciting classes, activities, games,
group discussions, service projects and more. Each night
you’ll hear dynamic speakers and worship with other
Christians your age. You’ll get to spend time at the coffee
house, play ball or participate in any of the countless
other activities available to you.
The theme for Horizons 2015 is “Inside-Out.” Jesus’
Sermon on the Mount gives us some of the most
profound teaching in all of history. Jesus challenged his
followers in Matthew 5-7 to rise above the righteousness
of the religious leaders by internalizing their faith. Today,
he challenges us to live our faith on the inside and the
outside, to have an “inside-out” faith. At Horizons this
year, we will explore the life-changing teachings of Jesus
in the Sermon on the Mount and learn together how real
leaders live their faith “inside-out.”
