It
is the purpose of the Intramural program at Freed-Hardeman University
to provide the opportunity to participate in wholesome recreational
activities regardless of ability. The Intramural program is designed
to serve the entire FHU family. This includes students, faculty, and
staff. Through involvement in the Intramural program, participants
have the opportunity to grow and develop physically, socially, and
spiritually. It is the primary purpose of the Intramural staff to
serve in a manner which enhance this opportunity for growth.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned purpose, there must be a
cooperative effort among the director of Intramural, his/her staff,
sports captains, and participants. By keeping lines of communication
open and by maintaining an attitude of service, everyone involved can
benefit from the Intramural program at Freed-Hardeman University.
