The University Career Center offers several career-related assessments for students. These assessments examine personality type, interest, skills, values, and strengths as they relate to career choices.


The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is considered the most widely used instrument for understanding personality difference. Learn about your own natural preferences to enhance your understanding of yourself and others. Learn about careers that may provide satisfaction and opportunities to express and use your personality type.

The Self-Directed Search Inventory (SDSI) can help you make the best career decisions wherever you are in life. The SDSI will help you find the careers that best match your interests and abilities. It will give you recommendations about how to proceed through your career development and decision-making process.
