FHU/Dickson works with Nashville State Community College for students just beginning their college coursework. Students with an Associates Degree or 60 or more credit hours from an accredited school or university can complete their bachelor’s degree in any FHU program offered at the Dickson campus. To find out if you qualify and how this program will work with your transcript email us at admissions@fhu.edu.

Step 3
If you have attended multiple colleges or universities, please provide official transcripts from those schools as well. You can contact the registrar at the school or university you attended and request they send the official transcript to FHU. If you are beginning course work with an FHU/Dickson program and have completed less than 30 credit hours, an ACT or SAT score will also be required for admission. Transcripts and test scores may be mailed to:

Step 4

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid allows the university to determine financial need. This can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Any student wishing to receive scholarships, grants, or federal work-study must submit a FAFSA.

The FHU school code for the FAFSA is 003492.

Step 5
After you have applied and been admitted, sit down with your Admissions Advisor to review our course offerings and begin constructing your degree plan. Begin by reviewing the courses and degree programs offered at FHU/Dickson. Email admissions@fhu.edu to notify an Admissions Advisor that you are ready to schedule your advising appointment.

Step 6
All student accounts must be settled for the fall semester by August 1. Student accounts may be settled by ensuring that award letters are signed and returned to the Office of Financial Aid and that all required paperwork has been submitted in order to process student aid. Required paperwork is specific to each student and will be included in the award package, along with a checklist that includes information on how and where to file the required documents. If a student's account is not completely covered with student aid, then a student may choose to set up a payment plan through Tuition Management Systems or make a payment through the Office of Student Accounts with cash, check, or credit card.
