Brown-Bag Lunch: Inspiring students to serve through a study of James through Jude

In Spring 2017, Mr. Matt Cook taught BIB 423 with a primary goal of engaging the students in applying Biblical text to real life through service to others. The group of 25 students learned to think creatively to develop service projects that reflected passages from James, First Peter, Second Peter, First John, Second John, and Third John. Each group was required to: develop a service project based on the groups selected passage, conduct three in-class presentations with a visual presentation, and lead class discussions around their selected passage and service project.

Come learn how FHU students partnered with organizations such as Both Hands, Tennessee Children’s Home, Chester County Hope Program and LifeStraw to show the love of Christ to others.

Registration is requested for planning purposes.
