About Monte Tatom

Dr. Monte Tatom is enjoying working as an Associate Professor of Education within the College of Education & Behavioral Sciences at FHU. He is currently serving as the Program Director for the M.Ed. in Instructional Technology.  He received his Ed. D. from Auburn University in Educational Administration in March 1998. He has been involved in educational technology since his first Masters level class at the University of South Alabama in 1983 - EDM 510: Micro-computing Systems in Education.

Dr. Tatom is quite active with the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE).  He has presented at the ISTE International Conferences in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.  He currently serves as the Communication Chair with the ISTE Administrator's Professional Learning Network (PLN).  He is also active with the Middle TN Educational Technology Association (MTETA).
