Richard (Rick) Brumback serves as Scholar-in-Residence in the College of Biblical Studies and Graduate School of Theology.

He specializes in early church history, especially third- and fourth-century Trinitarian controversies, and early Christian literature and history.

Brumback began at FHU in 2017. Prior to that, he served as Director and professor at the Southwest School of Bible Studies. He has preached for a number of congregations in central Texas.

Before changing to ministry and theological studies, he worked as a research physicist with the USAF/DoD in high explosives research and development.
