Freed-Hardeman students are keenly aware of the value that scholarships play in their lives. Recently we asked our students what they would like to say to the donors who help make their education possible:
I would like to express my thanks for your generosity. Without it, I would certainly be unable to attend here. With your donations, you make an investment in every student. I live and hope to one day to be able to invest in others in this manner. For now, I will live up to your expectations as a studious, dedicated Christian, and let my light shine academically and spiritually.
Thank you for helping make Freed-Hardeman what it is! This is a great school, and I feel very blessed to have been a part of it over the past two and a half years.
I just wanted to say a quick thanks to you, wherever you are, for helping me come to FHU. My time at Freed-Hardeman wouldn't have happened without your kindness and generosity. If I had not been able to come to Freed, I'm not sure where I would be today. Thank you for believing in me.
I would like to thank you for donating to help me with school. I needed to be in a more Christian environment because I wasn't doing so well in California. Being here really has changed the way I live and I hope to continue attending here, Lord willing. Thank you once again! - Fred Miu, Martinez, CA
Thank you for sacrificing your hard earned money to relieve the burden of loans that I would have without your help. Thank you for blessing my life with a chance to be in a great Christian environment. - Bree Cobb, Pacifica, CA
Thank you for all that you have given and for providing an environment for us to grow spiritually. Being from Atlanta, Freed was a breath of fresh air. I came from a high school of 2,000 students where I was one of 2 Christians, and your support has meant the world to me. Thank you! - Riley Pate, Atlanta, GA
I want to personally thank you for helping me attend FHU. If it wasn't for the scholarship that I receive, there is no way that I would be able to afford attending this school. Now that I am here, I could not imagine being at any other place. The donors to this school truly are one of the biggest blessings I have ever received in my life, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. - Gary Carter, Interlachen, FL
Thank you so much for your donations! I love FHU and can't imagine being anywhere else. I'm very thankful for people who care enough about FHU and the students to make it possible for us to be here. - Leah Carlson, Union, SC
My name is Brittani Burroughs, and I couldn't make any kind of difference on this campus without the difference you've made in my life. Thank you for your kindness. - Brittani Burroughs, Senatobia, MS
Thank you so much for your kind donation. It has been such a blessing for me since my parents cannot help me pay for school. God Bless! - Courtney Dow, San Antonio, TX
