When you choose to support students at FHU, you should know how your money is being used to impact current and future students. After all, doesn’t Freed-Hardeman exist to serve students?
As friends and alumni choose to give their support, this money is being used to address the needs that are being felt by students across our campus. Here are what a few students had to say about FHU and how your gifts are impacting them…

I came to Freed-Hardeman because I wanted to go to a good Christian School. To be honest, I had originally intended on going to another Christian university, but I made a trip to Freed to check out the campus and I really liked it so I decided to come here instead.
Freed-Hardeman has helped me in my Christian walk more than anything. The Bible classes that I have taken have been extremely helpful and I've learned a lot of things that have strengthened my faith. Also, I believe that this school has prepared me for life after school. I've studied and learned a lot about my craft and I feel prepared for the life ahead of me. |

I came to Freed-Hardeman largely because of what I saw when I visited for Lectureships. I was excited by the knowledge the Bible teachers seemed to possess and by how in-depth their lessons were. I knew these were the type of men that I wanted to learn from so I decided to come to Freed-Hardeman. One unexpected thing that I came to love about Freed was the food. After spending a semester in Italy where I was introduced to a variety of new and unusual dishes, I was never so happy to be back in Gano surrounded by familiar food. |

As a senior, I know you can not just choose one favorite thing about FHU. The entire experience is just that...an experience. It's about the little things, the little things that eventually become one of the biggest changes in your life.

I absolutely love the Christian environment that I am surrounded by. It's so encouraging to meet so many people who have the same spiritual goals. It is also really neat for me to go to church services and see a lot of my teachers there. That is something you just don't see at other universities.

I just love the professors very much and appreciate how much they care about the students.

At Freed I have made some of the greatest friends a person can have. I also love the classroom environment, all of the teachers are here for the students.

I'm from Henderson, and growing up around Freed, it was the last place on my mind to attend. Now I realize its been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love the Christian atmosphere and the fact that everyone treats each other like family.
