Car, Truck and Bike Show

The Alumni Relations office at Freed-Hardeman University invites you to come display your vehicle at Homecoming 2009. The show will begin at 11:00am (Nov 13) and the People's Choice Awards will be announced at 1:00pm. The top 5 People's Choice vehicles will be awarded.

While you are at the car show, please feel free to roam around and take advantage of our tailgating, which is put on by our social clubs, stay for the games or visit various other vendors. At 1:00pm our Lady Lions will play Spring Hill College and at 3:00pm our Lions will play Tougaloo College.

For more information, please contact Jason Seratt, Show Coordinator, at 731-435-0056 or Melissa Seratt in the Office of Alumni Relations at 731-989-6021. We look forward to seeing you there!

Homecoming Banquet

Back by popular demand, the 2nd Annual Homecoming Banquet is a time to enjoy friends, family and fellow alumni. There will be a delicious meal as well as the presentation of the Homecoming Court and the presentation of the Alumni Awards. The purpose of the banquet is to kick off the Homecoming weekend and to give everyone a change to meet and mingle before Saturday's events begin.

For more information on the Homecoming Banquet, call the Office of Alumni Relations at 731-989-6021 or email us at alumni@fhu.edu.

Kids Activities

Think there's nothing for kids to do at Homecoming? Think again! This year we will have Ashley Kizer and his Bonus Point Band to entertain us, as well as the Pied Pipers and some other kid-themed entertainment.

Join us in the new Black Box Theatre (old Dry Cleaners building across from Old Main) for kids activities from 10:00am until noon.

After you leave the Black Box Theatre, the kids will enjoy the tailgating and inflatables on the lawn of the Sports Center.

Before you get to Homecoming, don't forget to enter your child's art in the Homecoming Art Contest. The theme is "It's Good to be Home". You can find more information on our For Kids page.
