Horizons 34 will be here soon! Our theme will be announced at Evangelism University in January. Look for updated brochures online in February.
Horizons is a week-long spiritual experience for Christian leaders in grades 7-12 held each summer on the campus of Freed-Hardeman University. 2014 will be our 34th year. Mark your calendars for the week of July 6-11, 2014.
It's been an incredible 33 years of impacting young leaders, and the focus that created the program continues to this day as we strive to build an encouraging environment that works to equip young church leaders.
Horizons is directed by Doug Burleson and Kirk Brothers. They are assisted by Kim Cook, Chris Creecy, Jennifer Creecy, Kay Pack, Ray Pack, Billy Smith, Nicole Young and an excellent staff of more than 100 counselors and teachers.
Each day is filled with exciting classes, activities, games, group discussions, real-life service projects and more. Each night you'll hear dynamic speakers and worship with other Christian teenagers like yourself. You'll get to spend time at the HoriZone, play ball or join in on any of the other countless activities that you won't want to miss.
": On Thursday night, we have a special bridging ceremony for all our seniors. You will not want to miss it.
