Description:
The Learning Achievement Center is a tutoring center, located in
Jackson, TN, specializing in one-to-one after school tutoring for all
school levels including adult tutoring. The current owner, April Richey,
is a member of the North Jackson church of Christ.
The Learning
Achievement Center is currently seeking science majors to do after
school tutoring for high school students. They are in need of an
immediate tutor for chemistry. They would like to have applications for
tutors for other subject areas (physics, biology, etc.) on hand should a
need for that arise.
Requirements: Tutors must:
1) be pursuing a major or minor in the subject they will be tutoring,
2) be in good academic standing. An overall 3.0 GPA is preferred - an overall 3.0 in courses to be tutored is required, and
3) list at least one FHU science professor as a reference.
