The theme for this year is, "Crying out to God: Prayer and Praise in the Psalms."
The ancient hymnal for God's people Israel, the biblical Book of Psalms, is a magnificent compilation of songs of praise and devotion. Major types of psalms, including praise songs, laments and songs of thanksgiving, speak both to our human condition and to our need to worship our holy, sovereign Lord. Out of our predicaments we cry out to God even as our human spirits long to worship and commune with Him. Join us in this great study.
