The Sky Rocket newspaper was produced and published by the Freed-Hardeman College student body from October 1923 until December 1971. The 1923-1929 papers are especially valuable, since a campus yearbook was not published until 1929. After 1971, it was decided the paper needed a new look and a new name, becoming The New Edition and later, Bell Tower. Gaps in issue dates indicate that the Archives does not have the missing issue. We have also retained inaccurate and conflicting volume and issue numbers to reflect the paper's details.
