Dan Cole Bunk Beds

Help us memorialize Dan Cole PLUS replace the bunk beds at Mid-South Youth Camp. Mid-South Youth Camp is located in Henderson, TN and is a week-long summer camp held eight weeks in the summer. MSYC has impacted thousands of children. Dan attended and worked at MSYC in the 1980's and it made an impact on his life. His sisters, cousins, nephews, and daughter have attended MSYC and have a love for the camp.

Dan was killed July 9, 2011 when his helicopter crashed near the Smoky Mountains. He died a decorated soldier (Chief Warrant Officer 4) and served our country well both domestically and abroad. He was married to Deanna (Hall) Cole and they have two children—Lauren and Logan. Dan was a devout Christian, father, and husband. Dan was raised in Henderson, Tennessee. He graduated from CCHS, where he was a member of many clubs and played football as a CC Eagle. In 1989, he attended FHU and this year had begun studies to complete his Bachelor’s degree through University of Oklahoma. He was the son of John and Sue Cole of Henderson. His sisters are Beth Cole Naylor and Becky Cole Ada.

Now we can help Dan’s name live on at MSYC. It costs approximately $800 to replace a cabin’s bunks at MSYC. All donations help! Please send your donation to:
