FHU Art Students' Work Chosen For Exhibition

APRIL 14, 2014

The works of Freed-Hardeman University students Katie Benson and Caleb Cook were selected for the 2014 Artists of the 21st Century exhibition. The annual exhibit, coordinated by the University of Tennessee at Martin, is a nine state, juried competition.

Benson, a senior from Hattiesburg, Miss., submitted an oil on canvas. She is an art major with a minor in photography. Cook, a sophomore art major from Henderson, submitted a cyanotype.
The Artists of the 21st Century exhibition will be on display at the West Tennessee Regional Art Center in Humboldt, Tenn., April 1-25. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the FHU art program has been represented in this competition.
