FHU Students Named Homecoming Queen and King

Freed-Hardeman University students crowned this year’s Homecoming King and Queen at the alumni banquet Friday, Nov. 9. Taraleigh Watts and Lincoln Stemler were chosen by their classmates for this honor.

Watts is a psychology major from Goodlettsville, Tenn. She is a member of Alpha Chi and co-president of Psi Chi. She will graduate summa cum laude in December. She has recently been accepted into marriage and family therapy graduate programs at both Trevecca Nazarene University and Lipscomb University.

Stemler is a criminal justice major from Jeffersonville, Ind. Stemler was freshman class president in 2009-2010. He was also elected Student Government Association’s student body president for the 2011-2012 school year. He currently plays intercollegiate golf for FHU and writes for the university’s newspaper, The Belltower.

All nominees for each class were recognized at FHU’s homecoming banquet. The king and queen were chosen from the senior candidates.
