FHU Faculty Present at Summer Conference

Freed-Hardeman University’s Dr. Sharen Cypress and Ms. Jennifer Creecy presented papers at the 2011 Martin Institute Summer Conference. The event, which was hosted in Memphis by the Martin Institute for Teaching Excellence, was designed to further develop the 21st century skills of teachers and administrators. Cypress, who is the Dean of the School of Education at FHU, presented a paper entitled, “A model for Instructional Leadership: Instructional Impact Teams.”

Creecy, an instructor in education, had a session entitled “Useful and User-Friendly Websites for the Classroom Teacher.”

Cypress was also recently appointed to the Executive Board of the Tennessee Association for Colleges of Teacher Education.
