WFHU, FM91 to Promote Child Abuse Awareness

Continuing its focus on serving the community, the management of WFHU, FM91 is partnering with the Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center in Chester County to promote Child Abuse Awareness/Prevention Month throughout April. The station is currently creating awareness of the event using airtime, and it is organizing and hosting a forum for the both the FHU campus and the community.

The forum will begin at 6 p.m. in Ayers Auditorium Monday, April 23. Dr. Deryl Hilliard will be moderating both the panel discussion and a question and answer forum. Personnel from the Department of Children’s Services from the Chester/Madison county area will be contributing to the discussion as panelists. Ron Means, FM91 station manager, states, “It should be an informative and beneficial evening.” Students, faculty and the community are encouraged to attend the forum.

WFHU, FM91 is owned and operated by Freed-Hardeman University. The station broadcasts adult contemporary music, as well as sports coverage and daily programming.
