Work of FHU Art Professor Chosen for Exhibition

A work by Dr. Barbara England, chair of Freed-Hardeman University’s fine arts department, has been chosen for a summer exhibition in Nashville. “Runs,” a mixed media painting, won honorable mention at the juried show and will be displayed June 20-Aug. 26 at the Inaugural Tennessee Art Education Association exhibition.

The exhibition, named “Connections,” will be in Belmont University’s Leu Art Gallery. Tennessee Arts Academy joined TAEA as a co-sponsor of the event. The show was open to all 2010-11 TAEA members. It offers teachers the opportunity to display their talents and be honored for their accomplishments in a professional environment.
