Freed Hardeman University’s science and math majors will participate in Professional School Fair and Career Day Thursday, Sept. 26, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Anderson Science Center.
Professional schools will recruit students for their programs. Those expected to attend include four colleges of pharmacy, three physician assistant programs, a graduate nursing program and the U.S. military. In addition, companies will be looking for interns and employees in the fields of health, computer sciences and mathematics. Representatives will be available to talk with interested students.
Hospitals, nursing homes, branches of the military and computer software companies will be on hand to recruit potential employees.
Students from schools in the surrounding area, in addition to FHU students, have been invited to attend.
