Freed-Hardeman University’s College of Business will host a Career/Major Fair Event in the main lobby of the Brown-Kopel Business Center, Thursday, Feb. 13.
The event is intended for all current business majors, undeclared majors and anyone else interested in pursuing a degree in business.
At the first session ta from 10:30-11 a.m. in Ayers Auditorium, students will hear Trent Watrous as he offers the perspective of a Christian working in the business world. Watrous is a partner of Whisenant, Stewart, Watrous & Associates Certified Public Accountants (WSW CPAs).
From 1:30-3:45 p.m., students will visit with faculty and students to learn more about the College of Business and its majors.
A mock stakeholders’ meeting will be conducted from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Students will watch a panel of today’s business leaders debate controversial issues. This will give those present an idea of what it is like to be inside the boardroom of a company dealing with divergent interests.
